Drum Gate Scaffold

Site: Warragamba Dam
Description: Geotech required access to both the upstream and downstream sides of the drum gate at Warragamba Dam. PC Scaffolding provided a unique solution that included stair access up to the top level in order to provide a safe access for their workers. PC Scaffolding relied heavily of the fact the Layher system can be pre-assembled in sections and then craned into position. This not only saved Geotech in labour costs but was also a much safer method of erecting and dismantling the scaffold.
